2023 Registration Fees
Sharks registration fees for 2023 are as follows:
Bow Mar and Bow Mar South Residents
1st Swimmer - $220
Each Additional Swimmer - $200
The cost of the team swimsuit and other equipment (such as bags, goggles, swim caps, etc.) is NOT included in the registration fees. These items must be purchased separately.
Swim team registration fees are determined each swim season. These registration fees are the team’s primary source of revenue.
Registration fees cover the following:
- Coaches’ salaries
- League mandated insurance per swimmer
- Ribbons and awards
- Individual trophy
- Miscellaneous administrative expenses
- RMSL League Fees
- Team Equipment (kick boards, sound system, tents, etc.)
Who Can Join The Team?
Swimmers must be 5 years of age by June 1 to be eligible to swim on the team.
Swimming Proficiency Policy
BMS Sharks is not a learn-to-swim program, nor do we have the ability to assign a coach to each swimmer. Therefore, swimmers without basic swimming skills pose a safety issue to themselves and a potential liability to the team. The swimmer should already have some basic swimming skills before joining the team. See Pups section for guidelines.
Refund Policy
We offer full refunds of Registration Fees (less WePay processing fees) up until the day before the first meet.
NOTE: Merchandise purchased cannot be refunded.
